fourteen - Surfing USA

With my last exam looming not too far off I can officially let myself start thinking about summer. Here are some shots from last summer of surfing in Montauk with my family. Now we didn't catch the biggest waves, but hey, it was our first time. If you ever go I recommend the 'ditchwitch sandwich' - it is A-MA-ZING.

twelve - Canadian Cookbook

My mum and I went to the local library's book sale and she found "The Laura Secord Canadian Cook Book" published in 1966.

Fun fact: Canada only adopted the Canadian flag in 1965

nine - suitcases

I think I have a growing obsession with old suitcases. I now own three.
I am too excited about my new purchases to put up a better quality photo, so here you go:
I found them at this wonderful vintage store on St. Laurent, Montreal (also where I happened to buy the other suitcase I own, which has flowers all over it). In addition to these suitcases I bought a 'Hawaiian swing' record and some sunglasses.

Time to get ready for summer!

seven - snapshots II

Some more snapshots of my sightings around town

Pretty blue coat, sadly the girl was walking too fast for me to stealthily capture the rest of her look

Yes, that is a unicyclist. in winter.

Is there such a thing as too much orange? perhaps...

Wonderfully stylish woman. She belongs in Paris. (please ignore the man next to her).
